Napier Company is an American jewelry company, with a primary focus on high quality costume pieces. The company was started in Massachusetts in 1878 as the E.A. Bliss Company. The company moved to Connecticut; in 1890 later the name was changed to Napier under the company president James Napier in 1922. The company is primarily known for costume offerings, but produced sterling silver jewerly and other silver items as well. The Napier brand name is currently owned by Nine West Brands.
