Alpaca is not a brand, but a type of metal alloy. The alloy consists of copper, zinc, nickel & tin, and resembles silver. Alpaca is commonly used in pieces from Mexico and South America.
*Note: It is not uncommon to see alpaca jewelry fraudulently marked as 925 sterling silver.
